Plaridel Products & Services Inc. (PPSI) approves the Computer Maintenance and Support Services (CMSS) engagement proposal of NewGen IT Corporation. PPSI is a leading provider of innovative products, services and business solutions for better animal health care and production.
The service engagement calls for weekly on-site visits of NewGen IT support personnel to provide the following services:
- Computer maintenance
- Technical support
- Network administration
- Ad-hoc IT consultancy
Plaridel has two small offices with four networked PCs in each site plus a number of notebook computers that their field sales representatives are using. Their head office is at the Atlanta Center in Annapolis Street, Greenhills, San Juan City. Their production and warehouse facilities are located in the Veterans Village in Quezon City.
Dr. Jun Punzalan, Founder & President of Plaridel, said that he decided to outsource their IT management functions because "it's very difficult and expensive to hire and maintain IT staff. This service engagement would relieve us of the headaches hiring and developing competent IT staff, which are difficult to find."
